People don't believe me when I say that I love a simple tree. Granted, simple is a relative term for me; however, considering what clients have me do to their trees, my tree is pretty tame.
I wanted something simple and elegant. This is only the second time that I've used ribbon in my own tree, but I couldn't help myself when I saw this 4in wide black velvet, rhinestone-striped ribbon. There aren't bows throughout or floral picks jutting out, no explosive topper: just the ribbon, one bow on the top, a jeweled garland, tapered candlesticks (for an old world feel) and aton of beautiful ornaments.
