Questions

How much does it cost to have my home professionally decorated?

The price will vary, as each job is unique; however, our minimum quote to complete a 6ft tree begins at $225, which generally covers up to three hours of decorating, every hour after is an additional $100. This fee does not include any materials, just labor. If starting from scratch (meaning we need to curate and purchase a full set of decorations and possibly a tree), the first year of decorating a typical 7.5ft artificial tree costs between $500-$1500.

How does payment work?

Our payment structure requires A $100 non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your in-home holiday calendar date(s) of service. The deposit will be applied toward your balance. A 30% deposit is required prior to any work being performed and the remaining balance paid after installation is completed. If we are shopping for you, the shopping budget must be paid in full prior to any materials being purchased. We invoice through Paypal and you may pay using any major credit or debit card. We also accept CashApp and Venmo.

How can I decrease the overall cost of in-home holiday decorating services?

Have everything out and go through it ahead of time. Know where you want your holiday décor to go. Have your holiday decorations out of storage. Untangle lights and garland, and sort ornaments by color, style, and size. Fluff the tree and check to ensure lights are working. Have extra lights on hand just in case. If you have an unlit tree. Watch a few YouTube videos and light it prior to our arrival. We can do all these things for you, but the clock begins when arrive. The first three hours are included in the base cost, however, having these few things done can reduce the chances of a basic job running over the base time.

Can you give me a ballpark figure of how much it costs to decorate a tree with decorations I already own?

6 ft trees are $225-$275

7-7.5 ft $300-$375

9-10ft $400-$475

12ft- $500-$625

Add $30 if lights need to be added on a 6ft tree; $50 on a 7-7.5ft Tree, $65 for a 9ft tree, or $100 for a 12-15ft tree.

If you need me to curate materials for you, my shopping fee is $100 + your decor budget. All decor money is due prior to shopping.

Use the cost estimator to get base estimate for your tree. When considering what your budget will be this is a good way to get an idea of a realistic budget.

Do you offer packages for your services?

Each project is unique, so there are no set packages right now. We are looking into creating a “tree in a box” but that hasn’t materialized just yet. Keep an eye out for it in the future. For now, we can provide options within your price range to deliver the most “bang for your buck.”

I have my own ornaments and accessories; can you just use the ones I have?

Absolutely! However, all materials are not created equal. If you want a “K Charles” look, it may be best to show us what you have when we consult (virtually). We can then decide if what you have can achieve the look you desire, if/what we should add to it, or if starting from scratch is the best option. In either case, our goal is to please our client. We don’t force you to buy anything. Our pricing model isn’t based on a percentage of the cost of the job, so there’s no incentive to “up sell” you; however, investing in quality products will save you money in the long run. We present the options and allow you to decide.

Do your quotes include buying or renting the materials from you?

We are not a rental or retail based company. All of our quotes will include purchase of materials from various stores and vendors and installation. Takedown is a separate service. Because we do not sell merchandise, all material used is billed to you at retail cost. After the season, all of the materials used will belong to you. This means that the following season will become less expensive because you will already own your decorations… unless you want to add to them. We can always set a goal and work toward it over a few seasons.
